Ms. Ferrari-Lugo focuses her practice in the area of intellectual property law in Puerto Rico. She regularly litigates trademark, trade dress, false advertising, and unfair competition and entertainment cases in the federal and local courts and represents clients before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. In addition to litigation, Mrs. Ferrari has extensive experience in the clearance, prosecution, registration, protection, enforcement, maintenance, and transfer of trademarks in Puerto Rico, the United States and worldwide. As a patent attorney she represents clients before the Unites Staets Patent Office regarding patent matters. She also advises clients on copyright registration and infringement issues. Mrs. Ferrari is also, an adjunct professor at the University of Puerto Rico School of Law where she teaches Patent Law.

Mrs. Ferrari is admitted to the bar of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico and in patent cases before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Mrs. Ferrari also serves on the advisory commission of the State Department of Puerto Rico for revision of the trademark laws.
